Everyday is a gift.

Every day is a gift that a lot of people take for granted. The fact that tomorrow is not guaranteed should make everyone appreciate every moment. However a lot of us don’t think about our own mortality until someone we know passes away. The only thing that we are guaranteed is death, everyone has their time to depart from this world. The fact that we don’t know when our time is, should make everyone focus on living their best life each and every day.

Do things that will make you happy. Bring a positive energy with you no matter where you are. Be the reason someone feels joy and happiness. Spread love and positivity. Always keep in mind that when you are long gone, you won’t be remebered for your clothes, wealth or your beauty, people will remember how you were as a person and how you lived. Therefore focus on the things that matter in life and treat each day as gift. Always live in the present moment, be in the here and now.

  1. I work at a centre that helps people with cancer learn to live well through programs that address their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. They understand that each day is a gift and are inspirational. It is an honour to work with them.

    • I am sorry you are going through a difficult time. I just want you to know that you are not alone and everyone experiences dark times. However these hardships won’t last. One day you will be able to see life as a gift. Never give up and hold onto the hope that there are better days ahead. I pray that you find relief in whatever you are going through and that you are able to see life as a gift instead of a consequence.
